Biosound Outcome Data Analyzer

The Biosound® Outcome Data Analyzer comes pre-loaded on the laptop.  The patient can use the wireless keyboard to mark each scale measuring their intensity of each symptom.  The program records and stores the patient self-assessments, pre and post session. The program captures the patient’s intensity levels relative to the ten symptoms shown above.  The program will correlate the percentage of improvement from pre to post session and collect age and gender data. All of the data is then exported to excel for documentation of the patient’s symptom improvement throughout treatment and to quantify outcomes for research or other purposes.

The program also contains a platform to ask certain motivational questions, such as the patient’s willingness to change; and provides a dynamic page for other customized questions if desired.  This program is an additional tool for providers to measure their success in helping patient’s cope and manage these common symptoms. It is also designed to motivate the patient to change. Additional benefits for the facility include tracking reductions in early AMA discharge rates and documenting for insurance reimbursements.
